VG+, almost near fine. Mild fraying at corners and spine ends. Gilt lettering slightly faded at spine. Gilt is still bright at front board, and at top edge. A trace of sticker residue to rear board. Ffep sports previous owner's name, with the date of Christmas 1917, along with a very small label from The Old Corner Book Store in Boston. Mild toning to pages, no foxing. Binding is sound, hinges are intact.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days, often within 24 hours. We ship books well-protected in boxes or padded mailers. There may be an additional cost for items over 2 lbs.
**A word about our shipping rate: ** In comparison to some other sellers, our shipping fees may seem high. We do try to keep our fees in line with current U.S. postal rates and our cost of shipping supplies, both of which increase regularly. The current cost to ship a book weighing up to 1 lb via post office media mail is $4.47. We package books with care, and also use recycled packaging when we can.
U.S. Domestic Priority Mail rates are based on the small flat rate box or flat rate padded envelope. If you choose U.S. Domestic Priority shipping, your rate may be adjusted depending on the size and shape of the book(s) ordered.
The United States Postal Service requires the recipient's full name or a company name. If an order is placed by a purchaser lacking a last name, we will attempt to contact the purchaser by the associated email address to ascertain a last name. In no case will we accept an order, or send a book, without the recipient's last name.
We always issue a tracking number after shipping an order.
International Shipping rates are subject to review, and adjustment before sale is finalized. Orders weighing over 2 lbs will likely require an additional cost.
