Toy Shooting Book. 5 x 7.75in. A lovely example of an SS Adams Shooting Book, which were real publications hollowed out at the center and with an Adams Shooting device placed inside which shoots when an unsuspecting recipient opens the book. Mr. Adams would also place decals on the book suggestive of sexual or other illicit content in order to lure unsuspecting victims. This copy already "exploded" but with all components of the device present including the paper labels. NEAR FINE. The book itself with just slight shelf wear. As pictured.
