Owner's early ink inscription, dated "Nov. 1, 1891" on front cover at top margin, covers tanned and soiled, with few light damp spots to covers and text, worn along spine, with two early staples added, to strengthen fragile binding (the two original staples are also present, but have oxidized), one vertical crease to all pages; just a good copy. *OCLC* lists five holdings by this publisher.
