FIRST EDITION hardcover, bound in dark red cloth, with faded gilt lettering on front cover, and almost unreadable darkened gilt lettering on spine, is in G condition, having corners bumped and worn; some minor wrinkling to front cover; spine color faded; bookplate of former owner on first fixed endpaper; book published with uncut pages, most seem to be cut, maybe some are not, and from pp, 341 to 344, the top corner shows in the extruded paper on one page and the slightly diminished edge on the following page, evidence of imperfect separation; foxing to endpaper sections, and normal age-toning to pages.
