Uncommon volume with dustjacket by Andy Warhol, apparently his last jacket design. This copy is in decent shape, near very good on all accounts, with some condition notes. Coming from the home of a tobacco smoker there is a mild darkening to the spine and very faint odor which might bother sensitive noses but is largely unnoticeable. The binding is solid, tight, with perhaps the very slightest lean, though rather neglible. The boards are clean and firm, though each contains 4 tape ghosts, to the outside only, odd since the jacket was never affixed - perhaps remnants of brodart from the past. Interior is generally clean, being evenly and lightly toned from age. The front free endpaper has 6 seperate date stamps which are crossed out with blue pencil and marked "sold" all of which can be explained by the other stamp from "Modern Bookshop" which had a rental system alongside its sale system. Some minor staining to the bottom of that page as well otherwise no marks or stains any where else. First three pages have teeny corner tip folds at the bottom corners. Jacket is in decent shape - beside the spine there is some occasional rubbing / soiling in other parts, but overall fairly clean and well preserved. Two teeny chips on the front panel and a larger chip on the rear panel as well as one corner being heavily creased and with a closed tear. Now preserved in brodart, remains a solid overall example of this book which is perhapos most remarkable for the DJ design. Seller Inventory # ABE-1713376521343
