Included is correspondence of lepidopterist concerns, addressed to Stevenson, from Dr Patrick Roche (Senior Pathologist in Charge Forensic Science Laboratory at Oshodi in Nigeria, and from Elliot Pinhey, who became an illustrious lepidopterist as a specialist in African butterflies and odonates. Attached to a frontispage is a map of Southern Rhodesia which is marked and annotated by Stevenson. Captain Stevenson also signed the early pages several times. Rebound by Stevenson whose initials are stamped at the bottom of the spine. Half leather. The leathered corners and spine are worn, scuffed, marked. The boards are also scuffed, marked, with shelving, stacking and handling wear. The contents bear evidence of repeated use throughout. There are annotations.
