This book has the "A" on the bottom inside corner of last page indicating that it is the first appearance of this Golden Book edition of this story.This book is profusely illustrated with all that was known about airplanes at this time period. Little Golden books ares known for illustrated heavy cardboard covers with a staple binding. The interior pages have NO writing or creases. All pages firmly attached but are browning. NO loose or lost pages. This is NOT an ex-lib NOR is it a remainder. Illustrated covers show rubbing throughout. Illustration on cardboard covers is colorful. Boards are well attached and NOT heavily creased or broken. Book size is approximately 6.75"W by 8"L. See pictures. Rare to find a 65+ year old children's book that is in very good condition.

We use the "Fine" book condition judiciously when grading of the book or dust jacket. Our books are well cared for and most dust jackets will be in clear protective coverings.
