About this title

Synopsis

The myth of Albert Camus -- his person, political and artistic legacy -- has served to confuse and distort the facts of his brief, remarkable life. Lottman has written a definitive biography of the writer, a full-scale work incorporating interviews with those who knew Camus best -- his family and closest friends, his literary peers, his admirers and his enemies.

About the Author
