This is the RAREST big book to find! There were very few initially printed and it is unknown to an exact amount that was printed. This is the 7th Printing of the 1st Edition Big Book from 1945! This book has a reproduction dust jacket. The 7th printing of the big book was printed in January 1945. This printing was intended to be a ?wartime printing? which meant that it should have been smaller in size due to government restrictions. You can see that in the book there is a disclaimer explaining that. Despite the disclaimer, there was a mistake in the printing of the books and they were made the same size as the previous 6th printing. Once the mistake was noticed, AA immediately stopped printing this version. the 8th printing was started in February 1945. This book is in very good condition. There is no writing or markings at all inside this book! The covers look great but do have some rubbing marks to the front and back covers. The spine is fully intact with very little wear. The gold lettering at the bottom of the spine shows some light wear. There is a small sticker placed on the inside of the front board from a previous book seller.
