1st edition, first issue (8) + 224 + ????(4) pages lacking title page. Publisher's original red cloth covers, three gilt lines around edges + gilt Queen cameo on from, gilt lettering to spine. Original black end papers. Catalogue list at rear headed by Phantasmagoria. All edges gilt. Misprint on page 21, "wade" rather than "wabe". Very attractive tiny red/brown original bookbinder's ticket stucco. Covers : heavy rubs top/bottom of spine, slighter rubs corners, 2cm split top edge of spine, front& rear inner hinges cracked but essentially clean and unmarked. Contents : small 2cm fold over top corner page 31 else very clean, unmarked and unfoxed. You need to find a spare title page I suppose so price reflects. VG.
