First edition first printing. Pulp paperback book is tight clean and square. Covers are clean with creasing to corners and edges. Very small loss, with 3mm tear and creasing to bottom corner with 8mm spine split. Rear cover very clean off white, with usual pulp staple marks, 15mm spine spit to head. Spine is fully legible with some wear to ends. Text block clean, with relatively light toning to edges. The pages are crisp and supple. The book is still tight and feels lightly read, although the staples are rusty. Inside rear cover has "ad astra" in red biro, and a small "Ad Astra" stamp. This book is a very good copy of a pulp publication. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A very good copy of this pulp SF title Alien Life by E. C. Tubb published by Paladin Press in 1954. As collectors of pulp or Tubb titles will know this is a very scarce title. It took me three years to find a copy for my own collection a few years ago. Whilst this copy does have some issues it is still a very solid and clean volume, and certainly would benefit any collection. Seller Inventory # 004607
