About this Item

"Gallimaufry". One of my very favorite words, and not used enough these days! Most of this book comprises a reprint of Daniel George's anthology of poetry and prose, "Pick and Choose", first published in 1936. To this has been added his amusing essays, "An Alphabet of Literary Prejudice" and a few other short pieces to create this "Gallimaufry for the Diversion and Solace of the Ruminant Reader". Edges and endpapers slightly browned, otherwise a very good copy indeed in very good, very slightly rubbed and edgeworn dust jacket, a little darkened on spine. Seller Inventory # 002374
