Coverage of the Alpine Accidents in 1915, Central Causasus, Nights out in the Alps,wartime casualties of A.C.members, Beddgelert, Corsica etc with authors Harold Raeburn, Cecil Sligsby, Geoffrey Winthrop Young, H. Palmer etc. A very good+ copy bound in the standard gilt Alpine Club binding with gilt illustration on front board . Gilt very bright though gilt on spine dull (probably as issued). Boards clean and unmarked. Internally clean tight and very good without any significant marks or signatures, though some marginal toning. . See scans. Heavy book - may require a postal supplement at cost.

"Creaking Shelves Books" has been selling (and buying) books on line since 1999. Based now in Spean Bridge, ten miles from in Fort William beneath Ben Nevis. I have a varied stock with a particular emphasis in Scottish History and topography, mountaineering, geology, natural history and ephemera. Unusual items and small rarities are a speciality!
