The November 1958 issue of the Alpine Journal. Original greyish wrappers with black lettering front & spine. Sharp corners, tiny spotting rear cover, tight binding, no writing or marks on pages, solid binding (but a little cracking where the huge map is placed), no foxing, complete with the huge map of the Elburz [ Alborz ] Range in northern Iran. This has Shipton's arcticle on 1957 Karakoram expedition, Santa Marta Range of Colombia by Echevarria, 2nd ascent of Minya Konka by Chan-Chan, Masherbrum 1957 expedition by Walmsley, first ascent of Rakaposhi by Brooke.
