No colophon in rear, apparently as published; hardcover in black cloth with second-state printing w/Howard's name at top of spine and title reading vertically downward, only 100 such second-states were issued; some very slight minor handling wear to covers, some light age-toning to endpapers as is common, very nearly Fine condition; dust jacket is not price-clipped "$3.00" with the very lightest of edge rubs, very nearly Fine condition also with spine lettering reading top to bottom; the final photo shows very thin line of black dye from top edge of book cover, either from humidity or dampness or printing conditions [??]; jacket protected in plastic cover.
