An approach to cryptarithms by Frederick D Lynch (Colonel, U.S.A.F., Retired F I D D L E) the only booklet from this lot without thr American Cryptogram Association as the publisher. Contains Cryptarithms definitions and theorems and covers "Casting Out Nines", "Exsaustive for Three", "Double case (Double Key) Cryptarithms", "The Duodecimals" and more. "Solving simple substitution ciphers" by Frances A. Harris; S. Tuck. 1959 begins with the oldest form of Simple Substitution, the "Caesar" and concludes with "Undivideds" and "Foreigns" (Foreign Language Substitution). "Solving Cryptarithms" bu Jack Winter Crotalus from 1984, analyzes classic Cryptarithm and describes the use of Multiplicative Structures. The fourth booklet is a Cipher Reference List and Index compiled by Je Saurais in 1972. All booklets except for "Solving Cryptarithms" are stained around the staples due to oxidation.
