Vintage octavo hardcover in good plus condition. No dust jacket. Blue checkered cloth-like paper over boards. White silhouettes of silverware and a plate on the front and rear covers, stamped in black. The spine panel is just starting to separate with a partial surface split at spine fold. The paper is brittle and edge tanned. No page numbers, but the recipes are numbered in the recipe sections, and the chapters are numbered in the introductory, instruction and index sections. There is a total count of 2,000. Owner inscription on the title page. The author was the food editor for The New York Post.
