First edition. Softcover. Published in conjunction a traveling exhibition of art works relating to the African American experience. Features an introduction by Charles Childs. Most of the art works are by Larry Rivers but also include illustrations of works by Ellsworth Ausby, Peter Bradley, Frank Bowling, Daniel LaRue Johnson, Joe Overstreet, and William Williams. A very good copy in wrappers with some very minor wear and from the library of the Marlborough Gallery with their marks. A nice copy with an interesting provenance.

Books are subject to prior sale.
Libraries, institutions, and accredited dealers in the United States can be sent books with invoice.
All books noted as First Editions are also First Printings unless indicated otherwise. Books are returnable for any reason within 30 days of the estimated delivery date provided they are returned in the same condition they were sent. Illinois residents please add 7.00% sales tax.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 3 LB, or 1.4 KG. However, larger or heavier books or multi-volume sets will require additional postage. We will contact you if additional postage is required.
We ship all books in sturdy boxes or in stiff cardboard mailers.
