Privately published. Rare book. This is a diary of a trip taken by a doctor (a surgeon ) to America in 1937 to visit major American hospitals and see many surgeries by respected surgeons of the time. The diary describes these operations in some detail, supported by diagrams, as well as his other (medical related) experiences in the USA and comments thereon. 93 pages. Reasonable cream covers - some wear and bumping to extremities and particularly to the spine, which has several long splits, and a few stains. No jacket (probably as issued). Nice clean interior. Overall a quite nice copy of a rare book. Posted next day (M-F) from the UK.
