First edition/second issue, with corrected spelling of "ribbon" on page 235. xii, (13), 249, (1), (3) pages, with errata page and publisher's adverts; illustrated with 3 engraved plates by American artist Francis Kearney (1758-1837). "The first American sporting book" (Howes) in which an American author describes describes game birds and waterfowl in the Delaware Valley that surrounds Philadelphia.
