This 1973 edition includes two major changes from the original 1965 edition: Chapter 23 has been revised and expanded by a new co-author Dr. Joseph A. Wolf; and the replacement of Chapter C13 with a new chapter on the same topic of fatigue of materials and structures is by C. R. Smith, an authority in the subject. Professor Bruhn has drawn on a vast amount of material, including reports, manuals, drawings and photographs, teh majority of which was supplied by aerospace companies (including Boeing of Seattle; General Dynamics; Vought Division of LTV Corp. and more).
