Complete run Issues 1-6. Stapled folios in folded colored paper wrappers. Near Fine set. Small stain to one leaf of Issue #1. Slight toning to periphery of Issues #2 and #3. Issues #1-5 have yapped untrimmed fore- and bottom edges, #6 is white stock trimmed with cover drawing by George Schneeman. Angel Hair was an important early Second Generation New York School periodical which featured New York poets, but included a few other avant figures as well. Contributors included John Ashbery, James Schuyler, Gerard Malanga, Jonathan Cott, Ron Padgett, Bill Berkson, Ted Berrigan, Michael Brownstein, John Wieners, Clark Coolidge, Denise Levertov, Dick Gallup, Larry Fagin, Philip Whalen, Kenneth Koch, Joanne Kyger, Joe Ceravolo, Tony Towle, Aram Saroyan, Edwin Denby, etc. Angel Hair's elegant format, quality production standards, traditional type-face all exuded taste and discrimination.
