Brice Marden, Angela Davis (Book of Images, 1970), Karma Gallery, New York, 2013. Archival pigment print, edition of 50 copies, signed by Marden in pencil. 10 x 14 inches. Marden's Book of Images (a notebook/journal handmade by the artist in 1970) was facsimile reproduced in 2013 in an edition of 1,000 by Karma, New York in collaboration with the artist. Five images from the notebook were produced as prints. Many of the images compiled in the book were stuck in the notebook with masking tape and often depicted cultural and political figures of the time as well as collage elements and drawings. Notably, the Angela Davis print was the most popular in this 2013 print series, and was the first to sell out. Flatpack courier postage (extra postage required). Fine. Seller Inventory # 68769180
