Item description from seller

xix, 333p., first edition of this compilation, 9.5x5.7 inch lovely black cloth boards gilt (very bright), enclosed in the plain printed dust jacket (unclipped!) which features a flap with text. A note re the publisher: Soncino one of the few houses consistently taking pride in the look of a book, along with Scolartis and Oxbridge. Here we have an excellent exemplar; casing firm and square with a little crimping at extremities (rims, one corner-tip fractionally turned), and the interior entirely sound, clean and unmarked in any way. Dj has suffered an inch-long upper-margin tear with creasings adjacent, but a clear acetate sur-wrapper disguises this. ."this is the sixth book issued in connection with the Soncino Jewish Publication Society".
