Book has a label on inside front cover, a small marking on bottom of spine, and removed frontispiece, indicating it is Ex-Library. Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. Covers and content pages are clean, tight and appear to have no markings other than Library's. Boards are brown, with lightly rubbed corners, and an elephant head picture embossed on front cover. Back board has a lightened color area. Basically, an introduction to zoology, Illustrated with black and white photographs and diagrams throughout, this book focuses on all types of animals, including household dogs, cats, birds and rodents as well as all types of "herbivorous or carnivorous animals", reptiles, amphibians, insects and worms.
