In very good condition for its age, there are some ink markings to the frontispiece and page 221. Fold out map and illustrations/plates present. Original black cloth binding with 1cm split in centre of top of spine. Gilt titling to spine and gilt mountain illustration to front board. Top edge of block is gilt edged. Minimal edge wear considering age. Internally some browning of edges and end papers, previous owner signatures but overall a very good copy.
