Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Third Edition. Front cover has a cup-ring and a large spatter of staining. Staining to lower part of rear cover. Covers have wear to the spine ends and light wear to the outer corners. Front inner hinge is weak, binding is starting to split between the Preface to the Third Edition and the Contents. Rear inner hinge is starting to crack and is weak. Lower part of rear free endpaper has been torn away. Light to slight damp staining to lower edges of many pages, larger on last several leaves.
