About this Item
A fine, well preserved copy of the book that won the first Booker Prize in 1969. The bright orange cloth-bound boards look perfect: no scratches, dents or bumps; all edges straight, all corners sharp; no marks apart from the faint shadow of a stain on the back board. The black title lettering on the spine remains clear and strong. The text block is square and tightly bound; there is some light spotting on the top edge but none on the fore or bottom edges. Internally the pages are clean and unmarked apart from a note written in pencil at the top of the ffep to the effect that the book is a Booker Prizewinner. The dust jacket is unmarked and its colours are bright and unfaded. See five photos of this book and please ask for more if that would help. Seller Inventory # 155
