Originally spoken in lectures during Easter week in 1923, these five lectures have been transcribed into printed format and bound together in hardcover, some twenty-plus years after the fact. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are sound. Structurally the book is sound. Aesthetically, the pages and endpapers show slight foxing while cloth panels show soiling. No writing within. Exterior cloth panels would brighten up with a light wipe down, if desired. In these lectures, Rudolf Steiner lays a foundation for celebrating the Christian festivals while revealing the deep relationship between humanity and the seasons of the Earth, the solstices, and the equinoxes.
