Title-page printed in red & black with vignette. Latin text, with some parts in Greek. Paper of upper margin first 8 pages restored & strenghtened. Old owner's entry on title-page. Binding sl. soiled. - First edition of collected works by Antoine Le Conte or Antonius Contius (1526-1586), edited by Edmond Merille (1579-1647), with commentaries on the legal works of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian. He was French jurist, and humanist, who taught law at the University of Bourges. Condition : very good copy. Keywords : RECHT, *2006-100 oud recht.
