His name misspelled on front cover (Alden). No DJ. I believe it was issued with a plain glassine cover. Unusual binding with pages folded at top and uncut. Thus an illustrated page faces the text page both with blank backs connected at the top. Delightful and touching story and drawings of a mischievious but devoted black Scottie dog.
