Review
“I believe Boyd/Johnson/Bee, Lifespan Development, 4th Canadian edition, is the best designed and resourced developmental psychology text for undergraduates available today. I think it is ahead of the curve with both content and the multi-media opportunities provided by MyDevelopmentLab”
--Robert W. Milks, Nova Scotia Community College
“[Lifespan Development] is a comprehensive, engaging look into seminal research in developmental psychology both past and present. [It is] well written, with necessary psychological, biological and medical terms utilized throughout, appropriate use of examples and clear connections to everyday life. ”
--Michael Foy, John Abbott College
“Comprehensive yet concise. Current and interesting material.”
--Laura Loewen, Okanagan College
“This text does a great job at presenting an updated summary of Psychology research in the area of human development. Especially impressive is the breadth of Canadian information.”
--Andrew Starzomski, Saint Mary’s University
“I feel that it is one of the better texts that are on the market. Over all my students have appreciated the content and the way it is written. As well, the support materials for both my students and myself have been well done and greatly facilitate the teaching and learning process.”
--Judith Grad, Concordia University
“I was very impressed with [the 4th Canadian edition]. I teach a relatively short course and am looking for a text that is organized well, concise and still covers the content. I was very impressed with what I read. The “Connect to MyDevelopmentLab is a wonderful idea and will keep students interested.”
--Cynthia McNairn, George Brown College, School of Nursing
