It involves fish plant and bacteria. The effluent from fish tank is delivered through plant beds and not released into environment. At the same time the nutrients for plant are supplied from a sustainable cost effective and non-chemical source. Aquaponics can be more productive and economically feasible in situation where land water is limited. The production of fish and plant in aquaponics ecosystem is visible since the process allows the fish, plants and bacteria to thrive symbiotically.
