583p. The first appearance of R. Westall's engravings complete in a two volume hardcover set. The four volumes are presented here bound instead into two, complete. Bound in quarter calf with forest green cloth sides, gilt titling and both blind and gilt stamped decor. Both books are securely bound. Moderate wear presenting on exteriors, leather rubbed in few small spots and minor scuffing. Books have appropriately aged interior- foxing throughout, "1819" penned to corner of title pages and an ex-libris plate is pasted to front flyleaves.
