Contains architecture of Florence, Sienna, Arezzo, Livorno, Pisa, etc. Also a chronological table of the Italian architects Giotto, Alberti, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Scamozzi, Vasari, etc. Interesting French architectural provenance: Small stamp of "E. Sanson, architecte." Ernest-Paul Sanson (Paris, 1836-1918) was a notable French architect of the Beaux-Arts style. He was employed in the construction of many of the grand hotels particuliers of Paris and estate chateaux.
