The boards have signficant wear to the edges, not uncommon for such a book. Tearing at the foot of the spine is the most advanced. Scuffs on both boards, with small stains and markings. The back board has a signficant ink stain near the head with another smaller stain just to the upper left. Minor wear/tear at the corners. Book contains a letter tipped-in on the back board, has some wear and tear to the edges and blue ink/letter transfering on the letter itself. Paper has signficant wear lines and creasing. Some scuffing to the page edges, again not uncommon, to be expected. Over all, this is a 1st Edition in good condition despite its flaws. Collectible. Good. Seller Inventory # 46791
