Add to basketHardcover in publishers red-brown cloth with grooved paneling and gilt illustrative letters on cover and spine. With b/w frontis. Written by an American clergyman, this book is a collection of short conversations one might hear "around the tea table". Book in in good+ condition. Binding loosened by a cracked front hinge but overall secure. Small erosions cover backstrip and surround outer edges of boards. Text block darkened. Cloth has split and frayed at corners, especially so at spine ends. Interior marked by an antique plate pasted to front pastedown and one loosened page.
