Size: 7.6cm x 4.9cm. Not transferable. Original entry card for this highly exclusive stand. Printed on one side only. Lt.-Col. Sir Gordon Carter was one of the most influential administrators in the history of British horse racing, best known for his long tenure as Clerk of the Course at Ascot Racecourse during the early 20th century. This card was issued in the second year of his tenure of Clerk of the Course. Adhesive residue to the verso. No creasing. Gilt very bright. In very good plus condition overall. An exceptionally scarce item of Ascot ephemera.
