First edition. Hardcover. A touch of foxing on top and fore edges and a faint price-sticker blemish on the corner of the front free endpaper, otherwise fine in fine dustjacket (sterling price intact). The jacket is handsomely illustrated by Bert Kitchen. The second novel (after the viserally powerful and poignant "By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept") by the Canadian poet and novelist.
