4to 30 cm x 25 cm, xxv -140 pp top edge gilt pages uncut, coloured frontis and 67 plate of which 18 are in colour. The contents clean and tight with no inscriptions or marks, limited to 500 copies. Bound in the publishers binding of 2 toned cloth with Toby Jug vignette to the upper cover. The binding clean and tight with no marks or splits. the lower front outer corner has slight rubbing. Still retaining the original DJ some very small chips to the head and tail of the spines. Includes an invoice dated October 1991 from Martin Carlisle specialist in books on porcelain and pottery, noting that this is "The finest copy seen in 10 years of ceramic book trading" the price of the book was £460. A fine copy of a scarce title and rare in this condition.
