Contents mostly very good, clean & tight. 2nd vol mild foxing to a couple of pages front/rear only. Vol 2 at front cover partly loose from contents. Did not notice any inscriptions. This is a first edition uniform set. Edward Bulwer-Lytton was an English MP and author. This is regarded as the best early English history of ancient Greece. Size: 14 x 22.5cm Approx.
