About this Item

Handsomely bound in bright green cloth stamped brightly in gilt. The book is clean and tight and very good plus with the exception of page 525/526 which has been taped due to a 4" diagonal tear.The tape residue if mainly on p. 525 and the taped tear is on p. 526. In a very good minus dust jacket which is worn at the top and bottom of the spine and at the corners. Wear to the folds as well. Price clipped but the date code of 10/57 indicates first edition.Tucked in is a 3-page folding brochure from the Ford Hal Forum, 1961, when Ayn Rand spoke on "The Intellectual Bankruptcy of Our Age." The brochure has interesting notes on the front leaf. First Edition. With "First Printing" on the copyright page.
