Its set and written in three parts; England 1935, the Second World War in England and France, and the present day in England. The plot revolves around a mistake made by a thirteen year old girl, which she spends the rest of her life and the novel trying to atone. The novel was adapted into an Oscar-winning film in 2007 with the same title. Written by Ian Russell McEwan, a British novelist and screenwriter. In the original black cloth binding.
