Internally fine, with some faint age-spotting beginning to show to the endpapers of both volumes. The printed pictorial boards remain in excellent condition. The slipcase remains clean and complete, with some rubbing to the open edges (principally to the top and bottom), and some rubbing to the back and bottom seams. (Note: the slipcase is serviceable, but the publisher saw fit to use rather 'thin' card in its manufacture.) First Edition.
