The Autobiography of Arthur Ransome : First printing

True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£5.95). Edited, with a prologue and epilogue by Rupert Hart-Davis. Index. Illustrated. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a few small marks/spots of foxing, patchy browning (including to spine), patchy creasing/rubbing to edges, a few small patches of loss to top (picture) surface, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, a little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss in a couple of places), patchy browning/odd small marks/spots of foxing to reverse (white side) and a little creasing/browning to front/back inner flaps. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Little spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed grey have the odd small mark/minor foxing. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.…
