The author was formerly the President of the Manhattan Automobile School. This was the first edition of a standard work reprinted and revised many times. Original black roan, lettered in gilt, a.e.g. Spine and extremities slightly rubbed, else fine Frontispiece drawing of a "Typical American Four-Cylinder Touring Car", and numerous diagrams in the text.
