About this Item

This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Frederick Warne & Co in 1932. Overall I'd describe as Near Fine. The book is in beautiful condition and has a straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The boards are bright and unfaded as the photos shows and the gilt lettering and bee on the front board is complete. The page edges are toned. The interior end papers have insect photos and the book is illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. The pages are clean aside from the odd fox mark that does not affect the text or pictures. There is 238 pages including index. The copyright page confirms the first printing in 1932.
