Gianni Bertini (1922-2010) was an Italian painter and graphic artist, whose experimental work with technologies of media, material transfer, and photo-mechanical screen printing resulted in a distinctive style, contemporary with Warhol and reminiscent of Pop Art, but with a more explicitly critical orientation vis-�-vis postwar consumer culture. Bertini often collaborated with experimental poets and was particularly close to Henri Chopin. He also worked with Sarenco in the early years of Lotta Poetica. Seller Inventory # 23341
