Original publisher's card binding in bright green featuring a cartoon of a butcher raising his boater. /George Chrystal produced sporting cartoons for the Scottish Daily Mail before joining the Daily Mail and, in 1960, the News of the World as political cartoonist, using the signature "Chrys". Chrys also contributed to Punch, Power News and other magazines and drew regularly for Farmer & Stockbreeder and its successor British Farmer & Stockbreeder from the 1950s to his sudden death in December 1972 /Robert Trow-Smith (1910-2001), Agricultural author. Very good. Neat name in pencil on front endpaper.
