Octavo, original red cloth lettered in gilt on spine. 229 pp. "First Edition Limited to 3,000 copies" on the copyright page. A fine copy, in a very good dust jacket, lightly rubbed and with a 2-inch long tear along the upper rear spine hinge; price corner ($3.00) intact. Collects two short novels, both originally written by ERB in 1915. Both were issued earlier in unauthorised paperbound editions by L.A. Eshbach, this is their first appearance in print in a hardcover book. First combined (and first hardcover) edition.
